Bikes. Wine. Food. Music. The area’s first bicycle wine tour.

Welcome to the third annual Tour de Vino. Enjoy the acclaimed wineries of the Somerset Wine Trail by bike, each bringing a signature style to their hand-produced, artisan wines from grape varieties specially selected for each vineyard and for our region. And best of all, all proceeds will once again benefit Paola Pathways.

This year we are moving the start/finish and event headquarters to Lake Miola. Approximately 4 miles west of Somerset Vineyard and Winery, this location allows us to accommodate more participants with better parking and facilities, allowing all of the wineries on the tour to come to you after the ride. If you missed one of them by bike, forgot to buy a particular variety or just want to purchase more wine – all the wineries will be selling at the event.

See below for a map of the location at Lake Miola in Paola, KS.

This page contains quite a bit of information. However, there are still details that will be released as we get closer to the 25th. Please visit our Facebook page for the latest info and maps at

Yet another change in this year’s event! Are you more of a wine person and cycling is more of a hobby? Perfect, instead of leading several rides to different wineries, we’re going to allow you to go where you want and when. We’ve created a well-marked scenic route , opening at 10 am, that will take you to each winery. Then, you are free to travel to the wineries at your own pace, and ride as far or as little as you like. If you ride to all the wineries, you will pedal about 30 miles. Everyone gets a map at check in, and the map will also be posted on our Facebook page.

Check-in for this route starts at 8:30 am and closes at 10:30 am.

So, are you more of a hard core cyclist? Maybe you love putting the miles in on the gravel or are training for one of this season’s gravel grinders – DK200 anyone? If that’s the case, this event is also for you! We will create a much more strenuous and longer route which will depart at 7:30 am. Ride at your own pace, and get up to 50 miles in before ever visiting a winery. Then, if you feel you need more miles, ride the course with everyone else and get an additional 30 – with wine breaks to boot! Route will be posted on our Facebook page.

Check-in for this route starts at 6:30 am.
